The Black Raven Pipe Band has a long distinguished history in Lusk. We are a community based pipe band, but we also compete in national and international pipe band competitions.
Our school of Piping & Drumming is open to everyone and we welcome new members, from beginners to more advanced musicians, it’s never too late to learn the ancient art of Piping and Drumming!

Piano & Musical Theory Classes
Zena Palmer is a professional musician who lives in Lusk and not only plays the piano for our Community choir, but also offers piano lessons and musical theory classes to all age groups. Zena also accompanies other musicians on piano for music exams.

Community Choir
The Community Choir was established in 2019 by local residents Annalisa Monticelli and Zena Palmer. Both are accomplished musicians, who are passionate about sharing their enthusiasm for music and singing with our community.
The Community Choir made their debut with an inspiring performance at Fingal Inclusion Week 2019, in the St. MacCullin’s Centre. New members of all ages are very welcome!

Ballet Classes
First Pointe Dance School is run by Amy, who is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.
Classes are taught in RAD Classical Ballet and ISTD Modern Jazz for boys and girls, aged from three and half years. Students are prepared for RAD examinations and school performances.
