Lusk Tidy Town Asssociation

Lusk Tidy Town Association was founded 42 ago years by a group of local residents. We are a dedicated group of volunteers who work extremely hard to keep Lusk clean and tidy. We  have also coordinated several community enhancement projects around the town. The Bronze Sculpture with the hands of friendship, in front of the Cottage Community Centre on the Square, was designed and erected by Lusk Tidy Town Association, as was the sculpture of the Black Raven Bird on the Dublin Road roundabout. We also erected the Christianity Plaque on the Dublin Road, to mark 1,500 years of Christianity in Lusk.

We have won many accolades over the years for our town, including first prize in the Tidy Town Millennium Awards, for the restoration of Joe’s Bridge on the Skerries Road. We involve school children in many of our projects, for example the Coat of Arms for Lusk was designed through a competition with Lusk National School. We also received an award for a video we produced called The Environment Arounds Us, which was a collaboration with Lusk Heritage Group. As our town grows, we need to adapt to our changing landscape and would be delighted to welcome new volunteers to our community group. Please get in touch by using the enquiry form below. We look forward to hearing from you!
